To those who’ve been checking back on the blog the past week or so, I do apologise for the lack of updates. The bad news is there won’t be any new stuff this weekend either, as I’m off to 2000 Trees festival in Cheltenham as of Friday, to check out the likes of Future of the Left, Art Brut, Frank Turner and more. I’ve mentioned this little weekend before, and had a chat with one of the organisers a few weeks ago. Given the unremarkable news that quite a few startup festivals have had to cancel their events, or have just been absolutely shite, it was nice to find some like minded music fans who wanted to focus on something other than profit.

So yeah, apologies for the lack of new material at the moment. The good news is that I’ve got quite a bit planned for the next few weeks, including a review of 2000 Trees and next weekend’s Latitude Festival, more reviews and plenty more opinions. Also, there’s a prospective interview in the works with one of my favourite bands, but I’ll keep that under wraps for now, just to keep you on your toes.
