The Only Thing I Know For Sure is my personal blog that aims to explore the music world, finding new bands and exploring new sounds. I can’t guarantee that you’re going to like what you hear, but I’m sure that you’re bound to find something fresh and exciting to stimulate those ear drums.
I also co-host a weekly music podcast called ‘Ears to the Skies‘ with a fellow blogger. The show has a similar attitude, looking at the music industry from an outside opinion, and features interviews, debate and reviews of classic and new albums. This project is temporarily on hiatus, and should return soon.
Finally, I also submit articles to the online music magazine ‘Sonic Dice‘, which aims to provide “reviews of recent gigs and tours, the latest album and single releases, aswell as find out the inside track with plenty of band interviews.”
There may be some crosschatter, but I try to keep each project separate.

P.S: I don’t give score marks for albums I review, apart from the stuff published on Sonic Dice. I strongly believe that marks out of ten/six/five or whatever devalue any review, and also suggest that an artist’s work can be immediately summed up with a number. I encourage readers to actually read the reviews to find out what I think, instead of relying on a souless number. And please, if you do or don’t agree, then leave a comment!
